ROCK, Reaching Out for Christ’s Kingdom, is the youth ministry of the Living Word Community. ROCK meets regularly on Friday evenings, targeting Jr. and Sr. High youth.

The purpose of ROCK is to provide a place where young people can meet the Lord and grow in their relationship with Him. On Friday evenings, the youth are involved in prayer, worship, the study of the Bible and times of fellowship. As the youth grow in their relationship with the Lord, they develop strong relationships with each other. ROCK tries to develop these Christ-centered friendships to help the youth stand for the Lord amidst temptations and cultural pressures.

Throughout the year, ROCK participates in ministry and service. These activities
include retreats, service projects and summer ministry. Each year the youth are given opportunity to host a Vacation Bible School for the younger children. Also during the summer the youth have the opportunity to do evangelism and participate in short term mission trips. All of these experiences are aimed at helping the youth to become Kingdom minded, thinking of the Lord and others before themselves.
