This Week At Living Word Meditation "To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut" Revelation 3:7-8a Church Prayer United Monday-Dear Lord, thank You for opening what no one can shut; and thank You for shutting what no one can open. Please keep us from wasting time and energy by pushing against closed doors. Please give us boldness and wisdom to walk through open doors. May we move forward in the works that You have placed in front of us Tuesday-Gracious Father, we continue to pray for our youth team serving in New Orleans. Give them health and strength as they labor for You. Fill them with Your Spirit, giving them many opportunities to share the love of Christ. May they be a source of blessing and encouragement to everyone who has lost so much. Wednesday-Heavenly Father, please forgive us for our grumbling and complaining. Please challenge us to find joy in Christ even in the most difficult of circumstances. Open our eyes to see all that we have in You, all that You have done for us, and help us to respond with joy. Thursday-Dear Lord, we continue to pray for all those in the Midwest who have lost so much due to flooding. Raise up the church and believers to help in this time of crisis. May those in need turn to You and find the strength, hope and restoration that only Christ can bring. Friday-Almighty Lord, we thank You for listening to our prayers. Thank You for being attentive when we speak to You. Challenge us to spend time daily in prayer and intercession. Help us to make quiet times with You a priority. Remind us as well to attend Prayer Vigil, taking advantage of this opportunity for corporate prayer. Saturday-Dear Lord, we pray for Larry and Lorrie Bendlin, serving You in Northern Italy. Thank You for recent graduation of their son-in-law, Michele. Continue to give the Bendlins Your grace and strength. As summer Bible camps begin, use them to share the gospel with many youth and children. May their lives have an eternal impact, showing others the power and love of Christ. IN JESUS" NAME, AMEN! |
